Tips for a great rap song
- Write in bars: each line is one bar, and pairs of lines usually rhyme at the end.
- Keep lines a similar length so they sit on the beat - the rhyme finder counts syllables for you.
- A hook that repeats (the chorus) makes the track stick.
- Set the tempo in the style: trap sits around 140, boom bap around 90.
Frequently asked questions
Does it rap the exact words I write?
Yes - Swara performs your lyrics as written. Keep the lines rhythmic and it will flow over the beat.
Can I choose the beat?
Yes - pick trap, boom bap, drill or melodic above, or describe your own: tempo, drums, samples, mood.
Can I use the rap on YouTube or TikTok?
Yes, the songs you make are yours to post. Make a beat-synced video for it with Create Video.
Do I need to sign up or pay?
No. Swara Sound is free and unlimited, with no account - the song is made on your own computer by the free Swara Engine.
What do I need?
A laptop or desktop with Chrome or Edge. The first song downloads the engine once (it's then kept), so later songs start faster.
