How to make a karaoke version of any song
A karaoke track is the song with the singer taken out. This karaoke maker uses an AI vocal separation model to split any song into the music and the voice, so you can sing over the music yourself.
Open the song

Choose the model

Make the karaoke track
Press the button and wait - the model downloads once (it's cached after that), then works through the song.
Listen and save

Frequently asked questions
Does it remove all the vocals?
It removes the lead vocal very well on most studio songs. Backing vocals, harmonies and heavy reverb can leave faint traces - usually fine for singing along.
How long does it take?
About a minute for a 3-minute song with a graphics card (Chrome or Edge on most laptops). On the processor alone it takes a few minutes - the Fast model helps.
Can I change the key for my voice?
Yes - save the karaoke track, then open it in the pitch shifter to move it up or down.
Can I post my karaoke cover online?
The song's copyright still belongs to its owners, so posting covers depends on the platform's licences. For something fully yours, make an original song in Create Music.
