How to change the key of a song without changing the tempo
Too high to sing? Need it in your guitar's key? This free pitch shifter and key changer moves a whole song up or down by semitones while the speed stays exactly the same. It also converts 440 Hz to 432 Hz.

Frequently asked questions
How many semitones should I shift to fit my voice?
If the song feels too high, try −1 or −2 first; too low, +1 or +2. Each step is one piano key. Beyond about 4 semitones voices start to sound unnatural - that's physics, not the tool.
Does it change the speed?
No. The song is time-stretched and resampled together so the length and tempo stay exactly the same while every note moves.
What does 440 to 432 Hz do?
It lowers the whole song by 31.8 cents so that A sits at 432 Hz instead of the standard 440 Hz. Some listeners prefer the warmer feel; it's a matter of taste.
