Does converting MP3 to WAV improve the quality?
No - it can't bring back what the MP3 removed. It gives you an uncompressed file that editing programs handle more easily, with no further loss.
What kind of WAV do I get?
16-bit PCM at the file's own sample rate (usually 44.1 or 48 kHz) - the most widely supported WAV.
Why is the WAV so much bigger?
WAV stores every sample uncompressed - about 10 MB per minute of stereo audio.
Are my files uploaded?
No - they're converted inside your browser, so there are no limits and nothing leaves your device.
